I removed the news comments system. I only got 1 comment in the 3 months it was operating (and it was rubbish :)). Then just now someone tried unsuccessfully to spam all my news comments pages with a link. The things some idiots will do for a bit of PageRank eh? (*hides*). Well that's the end of the news comments system, the guestbook is always available and so is my email addess.

Kelly Brook UK finally makes it into Google's top 100 for "kelly brook". I currently get about 60 unique visitors a day, consuming about 110MB a day in bandwidth. I did get commission on two posters sold though, $4.50 in total :) The Google Ads made about 50 cents in the two weeks they've been up. It looks like the cost of running the site will rise faster than the advertising/affiliate revenue gained from increased traffic.

Some interesting comments in the guestbook. It appears some women are jealous and/or envious of how Kelly looks, and how much attention she attracts from (their) men. So maybe I'll say a few words on it. To me, models like Kelly are a fantasy, and not really competition to women I meet day to day. I am aware that it takes a great deal of time and effort for Kelly to look the way she does in photo shoots, which in many cases are additionally altered afterwards. Nevertheless, sites such as mine are portraying an image of a woman which could make other women feel inferior. That's a shame, but I don't apologise for it. It's no different to when your boyfriend looks at an attractive woman instead of you. He may lust after her, but in 99% of cases that's as far as it goes.
So to summarise, I have no idea what I just said, but if it sparked a thought in you click "Comments". And keep posting in the guestbook, every comment is valued.

Google rank for this site is now at 197th. For some reason it dropped over 50 places a couple of weeks ago and is very slowly recovering. Bandwidth usage for our sites last month was 9GB which means we can't take much more of an increase in traffic. I'll be monitoring bandwidth over the next few days to see if it looks like exceeding our allowance.

The database holding the statistics for the site got corrupted somehow, so I deleted the database and started a new one. The visitor count at the base of the page is correct, but the "Total Page Views" figure on the Site Statistics page is now counting from today onwards.

Our Google rank has got stuck at around 150th :( Which is a blessing and a curse. It may be a blessing in that the bandwidth usage of this site has been steadily creeping upwards. But don't worry, if it becomes a problem I can host the pictures off-site elsewhere.

I've spent ages writing a script to enable you to leave comments on the news I write here. I fully expect it to have been a complete waste of time as I dont expect anyone to bother writing comments on this. Make me happy and prove me wrong!

It's nice to see people leaving messages in the guestbook. Keep it up! An old site we did, Celebrity Skins, had a guestbook for a while and never got any entries.
I'm assuming this is because it is a multi-celebrity site.

Kelly Brook UK has been moved to a new webhost. The old webhost was blocking Google from visiting our web site. We weren't very impressed.

I've worked hard to remove duplicates. If you spot any, email me with the 2 image numbers and I'll remove the duplicate. It's the least you can do.
